World's Smallest Mother To Give Birth For The Third Time

The world’s smallest mother is about to give birth for the third time--despite warnings that her life is at risk due to the pregnancy. Stacey Herald, who is just 2ft 4in tall, was told that becoming pregnant could kill her, but bravely defied doctors to have two healthy babies. The 35-year-old from Dry Ridge, KY, suffers from Osteogenesis Imperfecta, a condition that causes brittle bones and underdeveloped lungs. In the U.S., Veterans Day began as Armistice Day, commemorating the end of World War I with the signing of an armistice at 11 a.m. on November 11, 1918, in Compiègne, France—the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. Today we celebrate Veterans Day as a way of saying 'thank you' to those that have served this country. Stockmancatdoo Shares His Recipe For Sesame Ginger Green Beans

Today's recipe comes from Gamesviller Stockmancatdoo who wanted to share his delicious Sesame Ginger Green Beans. Here's what he had to add about his creative dish, "Take a wok on the wild side with this simple & healthy culinary treat that’s sure to awaken your taste buds with lots of explosive sweet, nutty & spicy flavors. This dish goes especially well with a side of brown or jasmine rice topped with a tangy orange Asian (bottled) dipping sauce, add a few sprigs of cilantro to the rice for added color and flavor. It’s just the right meal for that serious gamer that wants to eat healthy and keep their playing edge while battling spunky foes in Magic 21." Here's what you'll need to put together this Asian creation:

Ingredients:

3 Handfuls of green beans, trimmed
1 Clove of garlic, finely diced
6 Green onions finely diced, bottom 3”
3 tbsp Diced white onions and celery mixed
3 tbsp Peanuts
2 tbsp Honey
3 tbsp Sesame ginger glaze
3 tbsp Soy sauce
1 tbsp Hoisin sauce
1 to 2 tsp Black ground pepper
1 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes
1 tsp Corn starch mixed with 1 tsp cold water, whisked together

Instructions:

Trim the tips off of the beans at an angle, rinse thoroughly under cold water. Add the beans to a pot of boiling water and cook for 2-4 minutes depending on how crunchy or tender you want your beans to be. Remove the beans from the boiling water and immediately drop them into a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Pat dry and wrap in a paper towel and put them to the side. Combine the sesame ginger glaze, soy sauce, Hoisin sauce and honey in a small bowl. In a small separate cup whisk together the corn starch with 1 tablespoon of water.

Heat 2 tablespoons of Canola oil and pepper flakes in heavy large wok or nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Reduce heat down to medium; add green beans, stir or semi-toss (careful) completely coating beans with oil for two minutes. Add the combined sauce ingredients then immediately add corn starch slurry; stir-fry until sauce reduces slightly and loosely coats green beans for approximately 2 minutes.

Full prep and cool time: 20-30 minutes prep and 4 minutes cook time

Gamesville: Congratulations! What was it like when you realized you won?
I was amazed and elated when I won! There were lots of other members there to congratulate me as well as a close personal friend on the phone at the time. Everyone was really great about it and I felt truly blessed to have drawn the jackpot card!

What will you spend your winnings on?
I have some bills to pay with my winnings. With the economy today it's a big help!

What do you do for a living?
I am a server at a local restaurant. I like my job, but don't like having to wash the dishes. I certainly do like serving the customers and is absolutely the preferred part of my job!

What three songs could you listen to for the rest of your life?
I can't name just three songs; I love music in general so it's hard to say. But here are my top two for sure:

What do you treasure most in the world?
I treasure my family the most, they are everything to me!

Forklift Operator Makes A Big Mistake

A forklift accident brings down this entire warehouse

A small mistake at work can really grind productivity to a halt. A big mistake at the workplace can compound issue to make it even worse. In this brief security camera clip a forklift operator who is careless with his equipment in a warehouse full of cases of glass bottles manages to bring the whole stack crashing to the ground. Luckily the driver escaped with only a small leg injury, but caused thousands of dollars in damage.

Kimmycub had this to say about her little man, "This is my two-year-old pug Emmitt, seen here performing a trick for a delicious cracker. He is the sweetest, most lovable dog you could ever imagine. He is the boss of the house and everyone has a hard time staying mad at him when he gets into trouble. He has an older brother Jake, a boxer who is ten-years-old. Those two are together all the time; Jake took Emmitt under his wing the minute we brought him home. He has settled into our Family like he was born to be here.
