Want another glimpse at slots? Of course you do!

Written by megadestructo / May 31, 2012 1:21 pm / 319 Comments

We’re packing in features left-and-right for slots! As we get closer to release I’ll be detailing all the unique ideas we’re implementing that you won’t find on any other slot game on-line (and we’ve been taking a good hard look at the competition). There’ve been so many good ideas during development that we’ll be implementing some of them in our next game, also due out later this year. Oops, I think I just did a Chriscummings101-style slip up. :)

But here are a few facts for now:

1) Cash prizes round the clock!
2) GV rewards and multipliers!
3) New characters!
4) A new name!
5) Gold-exclusive features!

Man, that’s a ton of exclamation points. Details to come!

But wait, there’s more…

Food and kindess is certainly the way to win over this dog

A group of Chinese cyclists ran across a stray dog sleeping on their 1,000-mile trek to Tibet and give him a drumstick. Looks like it was love at first bite as this little trooper followed them for the next 24 days and has earned himself a new home.

Nanasbrace wins $558 out of over $3,000 given way this Memorial Day weekend on Gamesville!

While I hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend (no matter where you live), I know of one person who must’ve had a great one: fellow Gamesviller Nanasbrace of Vincennes, IN! Nanasbrace struck it big in CatchUp CoverAll this past Friday (5/25) to the tune of $558. Congratulations! You know how many hot dogs that can get you? 70 pounds! Enough for one BBQ, right?

But she’s not the only lucky one this weekend as we awarded $3,114 in cash prizes to over 250 members since Friday alone! Let’s give all our winners a hand!

But wait, there’s more…

Have a great Memorial Day Weekend everyone!

For some of us it’s a long weekend filled with BBQs, friends, and family. But let’s also remember the sacrifice of our servicemen and women who have given up so much for us. So stay safe, have fun, and see you guys on Tuesday! And no I won’t forget Armistice Day either for all our Canadian and British friends. :)

But wait, there’s more…

Oh is it another teaser for our up-and-coming slots game? It is!

Yes, we’re still set for a summer release and I told you all that I’d make sure these images weren’t blurred in any way, so here they are! We’ve got some features in store that you will not find in any other online slots game and we’re very excited to show them off once they’re done. There’s so much great stuff here that I’m dying to show it all off right away, even in it’s unfinished form (which won’t be happening, sorry)! It’ll definitely be worth the wait so just be patient for a little longer.

I’m obligated at this point that mention “summer” means June, July, and August by our developers and artists. Otherwise I think my head would be on a pike somewhere in the office. :)

So for now we’ll just leave you salivating with these shots. Let the speculation commence!

But wait, there’s more…

Avatar_Green-day-1Our enthusiastic members have been sharing their favorite recipes with us and I hope everyone has been enjoying them so far. Don’t forget that if we publish your recipe, we add 5,000 GVs to your account – so please send those recipes in!

Today’s delicious recipe comes from Gamesviller Green-day-1!

Green-day-1 tells us why she wanted to share this recipe “I just wanted to share this recipe because kid’s love it, it looks awesome and taste’s great and best of all you don’t have to bake it.”

This sounds yummy and could make a great addition to anyone celebrating Memorial Day here in the States!

Few things are brought to a successful issue by impetuous desire, but most by calm and prudent forethought

Those are the words of the great Greek historian Thucydides. As one who spent his life meticulously studying the past (yes, there was a past even in Ancient Greece) he was in an excellent position to make the afore-mentioned comment. While I would never say that I am an equal, I have a similar vantage point when it comes to arguments on our blog and through our comments: they never end well and the original intention, almost always one that is fair, is lost. A lot of our communication is based on being able to hear differences in tone and manner; it helps us decide what’s meant as a joke, as sarcasm, or as serious intent. And with the consequences of your words being readily apparently, it’s much more natural to err on the side of caution and understanding.
