Last week we had three lucky big winners here on Gamesville and they raked in the dough. How much? Over $3,000! First off, last Monday (1/23), Grower-420 of Herlong, CA scored $1,012 playing CatchUp CoverAll. The very next day saw Annieleo1 of Bridgeport, CT (I grew up in CT!) hit $1,725 in Three-Eyed Bingo! And this Sunday (1/29), Lacsloan of New Albany, IN closed it all out with another big win in CatchUp CoverAll for $511. Congratulations everyone!! That’s a total of $3,248; enough to buy yourselves 194,880 plastic spoons (which is exactly what I’d do)!
How does one reconnect with nature while enjoying the comforts of modern living? Treehotel in Harads, a small village in northern Sweden, has the answer.
First opened in July 2010, the hotel is made up of five tree-rooms with the expectation to build to 24 by the end of 2012. Owners Britta and Kent Lindvall have set to blend the rooms perfectly into their natural environment while making a minimal ecological footprint. This is certainly very cool and has put the village of 600 on the tourism map, bringing in some high-end business for those who wish to be with nature but avoid the bugs and pine needles and such. I wonder if the guests all say they “going camping.” Either way, they’re truly a triumph of modern design and are certainly very cool.
This week’s Best Pets comes to us from Gamesviller lahotsauce of Lake Charles, Louisiana!
Warning about the last one: it’s about spiders and it’s fake (but funny). Just to let the arachnophobes know.

Today’s delicious recipe comes from Gamesviller Memer70!
Memer70 shares why this recipe is so special, “This is a family favorite! The recipe is very easy to make plus you can add more ham, potatoes, or something else to make this recipe all your own. Hope you enjoy the soup as much as my family does.”
We love giving out free cash prizes at Gamesville.com and 2011 was no exception! We had a huge year of growth and certainly learned a lot regarding what to do and what not do to. But still, our awesome members always came ahead. How much ahead? Over $400,000 ahead.
