Bang-bang-bang!!! Is that opportunity knocking on your door? YES. In the form of Quick-Draw Poker, the only game show whose "barrell" is LOADED with cash prizes!
Just ask fingrlksny of Canandaigua, NY, won $118 just a few moments ago, in the web's luckiest video poker game show. And she's not alone!
Yesterday, perky1946 of Greenbay, WI won $114. And Sunday was a two-fer, with cb5953 of Loves Park, IL, taking home $56 and windleykey8 of beautiful Islamorada, FL scoring a cool $57 of her own.
Poker not your thing? I bet onlyforwild of SaintPaul, MN, would recommend CatchUp CoverAll. And why not?
On Friday, she won $388 playing the bingo sensation that's sweeping the nation. So would downtrodensoul of Jamestown, NY, who won $446 along with a "Lucky Ball" crew of madoreb, jazz2hot.brat, bevh33, and cazc82 who each won $25.
Good times, good friends, and cash prizes by the truckload. Dive into the fun today. And tell 'em Chris sent you!
Sincerely,
Chris Cummings

Billy Mays — the gregarious infomercial pitchman who could making anything sound like a blast — passed away on Sunday, June 28, according to The New York Times.
Probably most well-known for his OxiClean commercials, Mays, 50, will be greatly missed. Although not a game show personality, his larger-than-life presence definitely made him feel like part of the family.
Below is a clip of Mays parodying himself in a bit for the Electronic Retailers Association's 2008 Awards…

Congratulations to our lucky Gamesviller Puppylady1955 of Kaplan, LA, who hit the BIG jackpot TODAY playing Magic 21 and took home $4,125 in cold hard cash!
In unrelated news, this may come as a shock to some but the Gamesville blog has primarily one contributor: me! And while I try to keep the blog updated daily with GV news and fun announcements I'll be away for a week or so on a much-needed vacation. I've queued several posts for the week such as Best Pets and Weird Wire so check back for your GV blog fix every once in a while.
Looking forward to seeing a slew of new winners' names up in lights when I return. Until then, good gaming everyone!

Ed McMahon passed away this morning at age 86
Show business lost one of the greats today with the passing of Ed McMahon. The former Tonight Show sidekick and host of the talent show Star Search passed away early Tuesday morning at the age of 86.
McMahon rose to stardom as Johnny Carson's sidekick on The Tonight Show, from 1962 to 1992. During his tenure with the show McMahon aided Carson's jokes and skits, and was famous for the his rendition of the late night host's introduction, "H-e-e-e-e-e-ere's Johnny!"
A little-known fact is that McMahon began his career as a bingo caller in the state of Maine at age 15.

This week's Best Pet comes to us from Gamesviller Shysmom25 of Fort Rucker, AL. Meet her sleepy friend, Charlie!
Distinguishing Personality Traits
Shysmom25 says, "This is my baby cat Charlie. We got him when we were stationed in Germany when he was only 8-weeks-old. He is now a VERY SPOILED 5-year-old cat. He is very picky when it comes to attention and only takes affection when he wants it. He weighs 18 pounds but the vet says that he is a very happy healthy kitty. His dad was a Norewegian Forest cat and his mom was a persian. He loves it when we turn the water on in the bathtub or sink so he can drink water and for whatever reason WILL NOT drink water out of a bowl. I hope y'all enjoy seeing him sleeping because that is what he does 95% of the time! We love him dearly whether asleep or awake."

We're currently experiencing a technical issue with Gamesville bingo games. In a few moments, we will bring the games down for a brief period (approximately 2-3 minutes) to correct the issue. After that, the games should proceed as normal. Thank you for your patience, attention, assistance in this matter.

Congratulations to Gamesviller Pollymaytx750900 of Sherman, TX, who hit a BIG jackpot playing CatchUp CoverAll TODAY and took home $445 in cold hard cash!
Useless Fact!
Pollymaytx750900's hometown of Sherman, TX, was named after General Sidney Sherman, a hero of the Texas Revolution. General Sherman was a key leader in the Texas Army during the 1836 Texas Revolution and afterwards in the newly established Republic of Texas. Sherman led his troops at the Battle of San Jacinto, and his men are generally credited as being the first to utter the famous warcry, "Remember the Alamo!" and the somewhat less famous, "Remember Goliad!"
