We’ve got the Fab Four here at Gamesville today! These four lucky Gamesville members scored some seriously heavy prizes and that certainly deserves a hearty congratulations! First off is Turtle662 from Ontario, CA (happy Canada Day, by the way!) who hit the Three-Eyed Bingo jackpot on Wednesday (6/27) to tune of $1,986! Next up is Judyjdmac of Cadiz, KY who won our CatchUp CoverAll prize on Thursday (6/28) of $570 and Karaluna1 of Bradenton, FL who hit the grand prize on Magic 21 to $4,999! Whoah! Last but not least is Bubblesb of Friendswood, TX who won our Monthly Sweepstakes and scored a sweet Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 tablet computer so she can game-on-the-go!
That’s a total of $7,955 worth of cash and prizes. Holy smokes that’s a lot! Between the four of them they could purchase over 2000 pounds of Salt Water Taffy!

As many of you may have noticed, for this year we’ve been doing our Monthly Sweepstakes a little differently. The main reasoning behind this was to modernize and repair a few issues with how the old system worked; it was either that or take them offline altogether. Well that system is now back up-and-running and I’m reminding you all that we’ll be returning to our classic ways for the foreseeable future, starting with next month’s prize (to be revealed).
I know, I know: we have many fans of the blog-comment system but it’s really not as practical as we’d like it to be. The posts take forever to load, people end up commenting on the wrong post, and I have to count out each entry by hand and then randomly determine a winner completely manually. To say it’s a bit clunky would be an understatement.
But don’t fret, how we do our sweepstakes isn’t set in stone. There has been a lot of good feedback and we’re taking that to heart. We may revisit how they work in the future (no guarantees and no timetables so please don’t ask), and if we do this feedback will be in our hands and at the front of our minds.
Thanks for being patient and taking part in this experiment. This will only lead to better things for Gamesville!
