Msablelulu had this to say about her cuddly friends: “I just love this picture of Zek and Tiger. They love to get close and snuggle with anyone that comes over to see us. When they’re not lounging around you and usually find them in the kitchen waiting to be fed.
“But don’t let these two fool you, they can also be quite sneaky. Once Zek was waiting in the back of the neighbor’s truck til we got home and jumped out and scared us half to death! We’re just lucky to have two adorable pets who love each other as much as these two do.”

This week’s Best Pets comes to us from Gamesviller Velmarosinaj from all the way down under in Western Australia. This week she’s sharing stories about her pet, James, who recently passed away:
“Here is my dog James who I got from a rescue center here in Australia eight years ago. He came with some very sad issues, being scared of being handled and would even snap at family members if they tried to pick him up. Sometimes he would hide under the bed and only come out for his dinner, it was such a sad sight.
“But what was really funny about James is what a fantastic singer he was! I would sing ‘How much is that doggy in the window’ in front of him and he would always sing along.
“After eight years of loving and caring for James with all my heart and soul he has left me. Knowing I gave him eight more years than he would have had if I had not taken him home makes me happy for the times we had together. Love and miss you, James.”

Emmasmom8404 had this to say about her cuddly friends: "Here are our two pets Angel, the bull dog, and Mr. Kittles, our cat. These two are best friends and practically inseparable. They love to do everything together, from cuddling to playing around the house. And wherever Angel goes Mr. Kittles is sure to follow. One day Angel was walking by and Mr. Kittles jumped off the bed and right onto Angel's back for a ride."

Chriscummings101 had this to say about Peri: "Ten years ago, Peri was abandoned as a newborn in the bushes near our house. We took her in, and she quickly won over our hearts. This prim and proper kitty loves being pampered–and will instantly take over any warm surface. This character trait is especially 'dangerous' late at night, when you're ready to go to bed, because she'll jump into your lap, curl up, and purr her little siren song, convincing you to stay put for longer than you should!"

TerriB325 had this to say about her furry friend: "This is my baby, 'Chillin'! He couldn't have been given a more fitting name. He just chills, chills, and chills some more. The only drawbacks to having a full-blooded Persian is that his hair gets everywhere and he is very high maintenance. I usually have to brush him everyday and groom him so that looks like a baby lion. I have never felt closer to an animal than this cat. He is very perceptive thought and knows just when I need some TLC. He is truly the joy of my life."

She is a ball of energy but so lovable and friendly. This picture was a lot of fun to take, but I always make sure Sadie is NOT in the dryer when I turn it on!"

Shasta232308 had this to say about her friend: "This is our four and a half year old cat Pebbles. We adopted her from the humane society when she was only a year old. She has the personality of a cat that I have never seen before. You have to pet her just right (her way) or you're not allowed to pet her. If you are being too loud, she meows at you. She is a very lazy cat and doesn't like to play too much, but she is absolutely lovable when she wants to be. We love her so much!"

She gets along great with the other animals in the house but one thing we found out is that she likes to nibble on your toes when you least expect it. And anytime anyone runs from her she will chase them. She is a great addition to the family! "
