Some of you have already noticed a change we've made to our Recent Winners pages with the addition of coin icons to the left of each winner's Gamesville member name. We've created this fun color-coded system to denote whether a winner is a free member or a GV Gold subscriber at the time of their win.
Taking a quick look at the Recent Winners lists you can see while it still pays to go gold and treat yourself to an ad-free gaming environment, it will ultimately not effect your chances of winning a jackpot here on the site.

I like it, Ryan. The gold status shows while we are playing so why not show after we win what we were playing? lol
Last night in the chat room, we were tossing around numbers of what the ratio of gold to non-gold members might be . . . does Gamesville keep stats?

Approximately 6% of Gamesville's active players are GV Gold members. We haven't done a comprehensive analysis to determine what percentage of wins are free vs. Gold, although that would be an interesting project for the new year!
