Last week Gamesviller Tabutami of Stevensville, MI, won $200 playing Quick-Draw Poker.
What was her big moment like? How will she spend her winnings? Find out below…
Gamesville: Congratulations! What was it like when you realized you won?
When the screen first popped up that I had won I thought it was just stating that there had been a winner. It took me a few minutes to realize that I had won! Cindyrellie was in the chat room with me and we both got very excited. It is still so shocking to me!
What will you spend your winnings on?
The winnings will go towards heating the house this winter. I am very grateful to Gamesville for this prize, words cannot express my emotions enough.
What do you do for a living?
I am currently unemployed. Best part is I can see my family more. The worst part is getting turned down for jobs that do not exist right now. This prize money should be a big help.
What songs could you listen to for the rest of your life?
- Neil Diamond – Rock Me Gently
- Mariah Carey – We Belong Together
- McFadden And Whitehead – Ain't No Stopping Us Now
What do you treasure most in the world?
I treasure the love of my family the most. This is something that should never be taken for granted and forever cherished. Life is so short.
What does your Gamesville member name mean?
Tabu is my choice of perfume and Tami is my name.
What game would you like to see the Gamesville team create next?
I love everything about Gamesville, but I do miss the original prize payouts of Magic 21. Some type of match game for prizes would be fun, like the one during the intermissions.
Anything else you'd like to add?
There was no real secret to my win, just luck and a lot of prayers. Thank you so much Gamesville. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and a very Merry Christmas! May 2010 be a fantastic year for everyone!
Thanks, Tabutami – and congratulations again on your BIG win!

I get really irritated when I hear people complain that they paid for a Gold membership and they don't win.
I don't have to sit and watch panty liners flying across the screen during my game–that's why I'm thrilled with my Gold membership. That's all that we were promised–the ability to play with no ads. Having the Gold room is a +, like a 'thank you' for being a member.
When you pay for a membership, you aren't buying insurance to win games–you're playing with no commercials–which is all that was promised.

Amen to that, sister!! When I wasn't a gold member, i won in bingo; now that I am a gold member, I've won in bingo. There is no major difference to me except the biggest reason I purchased the membership for and that is what ice said………no more ads.
Besides not having to see the ads during the intermissions, I felt like it slowed my computer down. I don't have that issue any more.
Another bonus is that when I recently won Super Chef, I won double for being a gold member. I play lots of hours, and yes, I see lots of people win and yes, lots of the same ones. I wish I had their luck. I'm happy for them. They have the right cards at the right time. They are in the right place at the right time.
If being a gold member bothers someone so much because they feel they're not winning, I feel they should not purchase the membership. There was no false promise made to us that is not being carried out.
I'm one heck of a happy member and enjoy this site. I love the prizes, the games, and the people. Keep up the good work, Gamesville.

Hey dynamite–did you see the post I left for you a couple days ago?
I was playing Super Chef with a woman who said that the first time she tried to load the game it took 30 MINUTES to load. She thought it wasn't working for her either. Now she says it loads up in 2 seconds and she has no problems.
I'm always of the mindset that when all else fails, try something crazy. Try to load the game and then go run an errand and maybe when you come back, you'll be able to play.
I sure hope when you finally get in that you LIKE the game. lol

Hi Ice, I guess I will give it a try , can't hurt lol, I played it up until about a week ago and now for the past week can't get a room to load. Gamesville techs are looking into it but I do enjoy playing it so I hope your tip will help. Thanx my fellow gamesville friend for any advice you have. Happy Holidays

Dear Dyanamite50 –
It seems like we're missing a few pieces of information on our end.
I've emailed you from my personal account again today. Please reply to that email with the questions answered–thatshould capture everything we need to diagnose and fix the problem (or, point us to new questions, if it's a more exotic problem).
I'm sorry to make you re-send that information to us; hopefully you can copy and paste from your previous messages to make things go faster. Hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
Chris Cummings
