Aren’t we all adults?

We should be. You have to be at least 18 years old to play on here (it’s in the Terms of Service if you weren’t sure) and I’m fairly certain that more people here are older than that. So why does it feel like I’m in elementary school so often? Why is there so much name calling and bickering? And why do we take it so personally from someone we don’t know?

Some people will never give it up and some people will never let it go. If you keep trying to respond, to defend, and to ask for “reinforcement” it will never end. I mean that. The cycle will just continue until someone (me) has to come and clean up the mess. And the blame game happens all over again.

We’re all adults here. We’ve been through good times and bad times. We’ve lived through joy and sadness, we’ve survived what life has thrown at us so far and have chosen, at this moment, to relax and have fun on Gamesville (for which I am always very grateful). Don’t take that joy away from someone and don’t let another person ruin it for you. Let them say their words, ignore them, and move on. The sooner you can do that the better you’ll feel and the less I’ll feel like I’m herding a group of angry cats.

So unless you’ve gotten your wish to be “big” from the Zoltar Speaks, let’s all act our age and be the better person. In the end, they’re just another anonymous avatar from the internet. Life’s too short and precious to waste it on petty differences and perceived slights.

Please help me not make this face all day long.
