Comedian Sued Over Observational Family Humor, No Joke!

We've heard of family squabbles, but this one may take the cake. According to KTLA comedian Sunda Croonquist's mother-in-law jokes may have struck a nerve, as she is now being sued by the family member for spreading false, defamatory lies with in-law jokes that have become a staple of her routine. The action seeks damages and demands that Croonquist remove any offensive statements from her Web site, routines and recordings. While Croonquist agreed to drop any language her family finds offensive in her act, she refuses to pay any settlement. That must be one tough crowd to entertain during the holidays.
