The NEW GV badges are here!
Today we're happy to announce a minor but exciting update–the new GV Rewards badges are here!
The same great style you've come to love, with a fresh look just in time for spring!
The new badges should be available both in-game and on your GV profile. We'll be rolling out this new feature all day, so if you don't see your new badge yet just follow these two easy steps: 1. Sign out out Gamesville, 2. Sign back into Gamesville and hop into one of your favorite GV games to see your new badge live!
We hope you enjoy this enhancement to the GV Rewards badges! Please let us know your thoughts in the comments section.

I can't even tell what they are now they're so light. Not a fan at all. And did they get way smaller? No fun to earn. Many wish you just leave it the way it was.

The new icons sure have had mixed reviews. That's all anyone talked about yesterday. Sure got our attention!

Not a fan of most of the new icons — the phone is very washed out and some look very blurry hard on the eyes especially if a person has a problem with vision.

I have the phone and it's about this color. Now, personally as a woman, I like it, but it's really a sissy color. Not sure if the men are going to be really happy about that.

Hi kc45826 –
I'm sorry the revised icon isn't to your liking. While we don't have any plans to change the icons back, there are plans in the works to make the badges more meaningful and exciting for everyone. More info to come, soon…
Sincerely,

I don't like the new Icons either. I feel you were rude to be unsympathetic to the members of this sight concerning the new Icons. You must understand without the members and our being satifised with the sight you all would not have your position. Therefore, satifising all members on all concernes would behove you all to listen to members suggestions and take heart in remedying the conflicts that arise between the members and management of Gamesville. This would prove beneficial to all concerned. This means something as small as Icons to something as big as cheating. Please take my suggestion as constructive critisism. Thank you very much for your responce in advance. I will be looking forward to hearing from you.

Dear whitedove463 -
Your points are well-made. And I definitely did not intend to be unsympathetic!
Whether we're making something new or updating something old, our motivation stems from the same place: to make things better and more exciting for the most people possible.
Before we launch any game or feature, it must pass testing with a limited, random test audience. If it passes, we release it for everyone to experience. And if it fails, we work on it until it passes–or we throw it out in favor of a different idea or new approach. Sometimes, the approved changes are released in stages; sometimes, they're released to everyone simultaneously.
The majority of feedback we've received on the new badges has been positive. Of course, there have been some complaints, and most of them have centered around 1) some badges being hard to see against certain background colors, and 2) some badges seeming smaller than before.
We've tweaked the badges so that they display better against different backgrounds, and we have an update coming in May that's designed to address the badge size and value.
We always look to you–to kc45826, and to all of our members–to tell us what's working and what's not. There are many different opinions, so it's impossible to make everyone happy all the time. But we definitely value your input and use it to inform our decisions and make improvements.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. When the next big badge release comes out in a few weeks, I hope you–and everyone else–will let us know what you think.
Sincerely,
Chris Cummings

Still waiting for the new badges. You said in a few weeks on may the first. It is now July the 10th. A few week's have passed. Guess you changed your mind or thought we would forget. Doesn't look like it is going to happen to me.

Dear whitedove463 –
We haven't forgotten–and we're glad you have not forgotten either! But, you're right: A few other projects have bumped the next change to the badge system down the queue a bit, probably into late August or early September. When I have a better estimate, I will let you know right away.
Sincerely,
