At Gamesville, we're always trying to bring you more fun, more games, and more opportunities to win great prizes! Earlier this month, we introduced our first daily GV Rewards sweepstakes where you can win a $25 Target Gift Card every day of the month.
Starting in April, we're shaking things up with a new monthly GV Rewards sweepstakes! That's right: Every month, we're giving away something new and different and exciting. Will it be jewelry? Electronics? Tune in on the first of every month to find out–or follow us on Twitter to get a sneak peak at what's next. Starting April 5, there will also be a new weekly GV Rewards sweepstakes prize: $100 cash prize each week.
The inaugural Monthly sweepstakes is for "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" – Seasons 1 through 7 DVD boxset. An amazing gift for anyone who likes this show! Retail value of $350. (And if you're not a fan of CSI, don't worry: May's Monthly sweepstakes will be completely different.)
Now… some long-time players may be disappointed that we're changing the GV Rewards sweepstakes, and we certainly can understand that. But the upside is, we're giving away more GV Rewards sweepstakes prizes to more people–from roughly 5 GV Rewards sweepstakes winners per month to well over 30 GV Rewards sweepstakes winners per month–with a stronger mix of prizes than ever before!
We hope you enjoy the new prizes–and start saving those GV Rewards because there's some cool, new stuff coming up!

Why did the weekly prize of $200 get dropped to $100 as of this week? It is the only drawing I now take part in as the new monthly drawing is of no use to me and I don't shop at Target so do not participate in the daily drawing. Now participating in the weekly drawing has dropped in amount so much for making things better for your members.

I agree with Gamesville member: lynn61611. Why did the $200.00 get dropped to $100.00? This was a shock to me, and I am sure to many others as well. Being gold members I feel we should of been told ahead of time. I also don't shop at Target so don't participatr in the daily drawing. I feel if you were to drop the daily drawing of $ 25.00 at Target, you could of continued with the $ 1000.00 monthly drawing and the $200.00weekly drawing, if you are trying to cut back on funds. I feel as your members we weren't treated fair. You tried to make the prizes sound good and exciting but for alot of the members,we may not like or be able to use them.

Although only 2 players have voiced their opinions maybe the player that won the $100 tonight had expected to win $200 just as all the weekly prize winners have done in the past.

well i agree with you both. i was not going to renew my gold either but i didnt have a say in it. you know if your member ship runs out and you dont know it, well i used my credit card last year when it frist started the gold. so this year they just dicedied to take it out of my credit card without me even knowing it till my bill came in the mail. so if you all used your credit card just watch your bill. it would of been nice if gamesville would of sent me a email to let me know that my gold was about to run out. lets see how many other people this happens to.

I used my debit card and the same thing happened to me. I changed that setting in Gamesville so I will not have the renewal automatically withdrawn from my checking via my debit card. I was unaware of this setting until I was checking to see if a specific check had gone through my checking account and saw the payment for the gold membership.
