At this point, you know we're making changes to Gamesville–sometimes, it feels, on a daily basis!
Let me tell you about something that's not changing: Poker Inferno is not going away. Neither is Three-Eyed Bingo, nor Magic 21. See, over the last couple days, we've heard rumors about this game going away or that game being cancelled, and these rumors just aren't true.
In fact, it's pretty much the exact opposite.
Over the coming weeks and months, we're going to be introducing (or, in some cases, reintroducing) a number of games, and also making over some of our classic games, such as the aforementioned Three-Eyed Bingo.
Actually, we already made over Three-Eyed Bingo.

Making over an existing game like Three-Eyed can be tricky because the existing players have certain expectations that need to be met, and what we need to do is balance those expectations against the needs of new players, and hopefully make something that can be enjoyed by our loyal players as well as the new players who are just finding out about Gamesville.
Ultimately, it's up to all of you to judge if we succeeded or not, and to help us make improvements that will take the game to the next level. (For example, is anyone interested in side-games that could be played during bingo..?)

PS: We've already made some tweaks to the new Three-Eyed Bingo based on your feedback, including changing the color of the gold daub so it contrasts better against the cards, and updating the "free space" to remove the eyelash artifact that was being left behind when the eye blinked. Thanks to "hanky75", "sarahpa15666", and everyone else who has written in about these issues.
PPS: While we're talking about Three-Eyed Bingo and dismissing rumors… please be advised, there is another Three-Eyed Bingo rumor out there that says if you leave the gold balls dabbed in a certain way and you win, you won't be paid your winnings. That is completely false. Our system is only checking to verify that you daub the balls that match the stated pattern. As long as you daub the balls that match the stated pattern and click "Bingo" before the game ends, you will win the game; simple as that; nothing else matters. If you know someone out there who is spreading this rumor, please point them to this blog entry and set them straight.

for at least a month now my gamesville is not working it goes to the page wont let me log in says name dosent exist i tried to make new account wont let me do that either i need help really miss playing

I just love the new look to the three-eyed-bingo. I think the intermission is entirely to long to wait to play and why is it that there is only one winner monthly? The GV rewards are good but would be excellent if more bonus (gold) balls were more than 5 a game.

Have you ever considered going way, way, way back to the old bingo games where there were small (but progressive) pots (i.e. 2.00) with changing patterns for each game? I loved playing and winning–even if it was only small amounts–they added up after a while!

What I would like to see on Gamesville.com is you go back to the way it used to be when all the games had money prizes and progressive jackpots. I would also like to see a list of all times winners for gamesville and maybe you can add the meber since feature. Games always been fun to play bit I really believe you need to add or bring back some stuff you took away to keep up with game sites like pogo.com

♥Dear Gamesville/Lycos, Your new emiticons are cute but hard to see. Seem that alot of them are changed but they are not clear as to what they are except for the little guy with the sunglasses and the check mark, the others are mostly a blurr on the screen. Not fun to use and I think that is what is gamesville is all about fun and having fun using the emiticons is a good thing. So do you think that your people could work on that or put the old ones back. Thank you very much…Ladydeedee2

I have to completely agree with Lady dee dee, I cant hardly distinguish between the mad and the kiss,or the happy or crazy… and the thumbs… please can i have my thumbs back? i used them as handshakes to the men friends while a kiss is greetings for my lady friends. How do i greet my male friends now? lol

I am about to retire for this evening but before I do, I wish again to say that your new icons on euchre leave a lot to be desired. I've been playing from the time you changed them to now (about 6 hrs off and on) and the more than general opinion is that the old icons were preferable as they were clear, larger and more expressive. Really, in this era of the "icon boom" these are bargain basement, and we really would like the old ones back. Thank you. M

I have been playing 3 eyed bingo since the begining and really enjoy playing and chatting with friends. Yesterday you changed the smileys. Me along with the friends I chat with (some of who have already wrote in)do not like these new smileys. They are hard to tell what it is they are doing, the old ones were better, so if you could work on that or bring the old ones back that would be great. We all agree that the smiley with the sunglasses is a keeper. Possibly there could be one waving or 2 hugging. And if they moved that would be fun too. Just some added things to think about. I think most of the changes are positive ones.
I have noticed that most of the things you need to SEE has gotten
smaller, tho. Everything is a little harder to see now. Makes the
games more difficult to play. I'm not the only one, either. A lot of
us kids are older kids and we love to gather here and chat and have
fun, but it's becoming increasingly more difficult to see what we're
doing now.

Some people get real close to a bingo, but miss it by one number. Can't you give them a prize for that. Extra GV'S or cash like $50.00 or something like that.

Love the new look for 3 eyed bingo. I like to play your bingo games, and have been on and off for several years now. The only thing I can say is I would like to win sometimes too! This is the hardest site to win on I have ever played on! One winner a month on 3 eyed bingo just doesn't seem right. I have suggested your site to other players and when they see that they leave. The way the bingo zone use to pay was alot better than now, I cash in rewards to no aveil… Not that I won when they were small pay outs on the games! Just wanted to let you know .You can probably tell when and how much I am logged in on your site, if I could win more, and more often, I would be here alot more. Thank you, Debra

Hello Chris. Ok, I've been playing here for many years. I have reffered a lot of people here because I love this site. But, I do not like the new three eyed bingo. the new colors are very hard on the eyes becasue they are so bright. I have trouble doing my usual bingo marathon now because it makes my eyes hurt so bad. I have 20/20 vision and I'm only 28 years old, think of how it is for all the nice older ladies who make up the majority of the bingo players here.
The second complaint is missing fowl words. it was my favorite game and I know several people who quit playing gamesville alltogether when it went away
Third complaint. Everyone in the three eyed bingo rooms are getting frustrated with waiting over a month for someone to finnaly win the big pot. we mis the dollar bingo that was here years ago and no, we don't care about the new stupid win points one. When the dollar pot bingo was up, everyone in the room was excited and on the edge of their seats , chatting up a storm and begging for numbers. then we would all congradulate the person who won the dollar to three dollars and it gave us a sense of realism and purpose for playing. we saw it happen. it was only a dollar but someone actually won it right in front of us. Every night people complain about missing that game and the fact that most of us think the winners of the big pot in three eyed bingo are fake. I've never seen any of the big winners in the rooms playing again. People remember winning the little pots but no one knows anyone whos won the big ones. Makes us all question.
So bring back the little stuff. It means so much more to win a buck and be thrilled we actually won something, than mornfully log in day in and day out and just be heartbroken whne some lone person weve never seen gets the big money weve spent so much time trying for.

Why has the game Spite and Malice changed as far as playing with the robot is concerned and having a rated game? I understand that many people were just playing the robot and not letting anyone else join, however, even if you're playing someone and they quit in the middle of the game, that game is still rated but if you wish to continue and play another game, it switches to a non-rated game. This seems totally unfair and takes a lot of the joy of playing this game out of it.
