LYCOS DEBUTS ALL-NEW BINGO ZONE® TO CELEBRATE GAMESVILLE’S 12TH ANNIVERSARY
Bingo Zone®, one of the web’s longest-running free bingo games, now features all-new design and real cash prizes
WALTHAM, Mass. — June 23, 2008 — Lycos, Inc., a leading provider of social publishing, media and search services, today announced "the cash is back" in a new version of an old favorite with the all-new Bingo Zone® on Gamesville.com, one of the web's premier destinations for casual, massively multi-player online games and game shows. Now in its 12th year, Gamesville is one of the web's friendliest online communities, where users meet and compete to win real cash prizes, for free.
Bingo Zone was the first game launched by Gamesville in 1996, and the web's first "free bingo game for real cash prizes." Bingo Zone uses essentially the same rules as ordinary bingo. Because Bingo Zone is advertiser-supported, it is always free to play, yet pays winners real cash. Prizes start at $1 and increase by $1 periodically until someone wins. Games last roughly six minutes, followed by a brief commercial break, and are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Hey Chris, I'm glad you have corrected most of the problems, but not all of them are fixed.. I have been trying to play games today for the last 3 hours or so to no avail !! Why is it that the ads will run but nothing else??? We sit here and listen to your crappy ads but can't play the games??? What's up with that??

I enjoy playing games on here but I think you should have more bingo games so those like myself can have a better chance of winning those cash prizes.
And you might think about offering a little bit higher cash prizes. It may even send more to your site.

Hi Chris,
I like the new way the bingo Zone looks , but I am having trouble getting the game to show up, I have been tryng to get in the zone to play and it takes me over an hour and half too get the game up so I can play. And one more thing may I add , Is that there needs to be a age limit on here, children under the age of 18 should not be allowed in some of the room's, if any way possible can you make a room just for them, cause the zone is where all the adults play.

yes i agree, people need to win more on bingo zone.been playing it for about a3wks now haven't even come close to winning a stinkin dollar,thats pretty sad.i play for an hour thats all i can handle very boring!!!!!!!

Hi There,
I like Gamesville a lot but am disapponted with The Bingo Zone
simply because a person must have to play for dys on end to ever win a few measly bucks——sorry but thats the way it seems.
Everyone likes to be a winner sometime so why not make it easier to win a few bucks as odds are wer'e certainly not going to win the big bucks unlesswe play our lives away.

As far as winning goes ,i don't care if i win or lose ,i just like to play bingo and i have also met some nice friendly people on here . What is happening GV? I still cannot play the games I have always played with my friends. I have tried the suggested method of fixing the problem to no avail. Can you please tell me when to expect I can get back into these games? I think have wasted my money on GV Gold…I can't play, I can't win (like I could a couple of months ago) AND I can't talk with all my international friends. Do I get a refund of my GV Gold fees?
Very disappointed.
