Starting today, we’re going to start reporting those same figures on a monthly basis, too!

In August, Gamesville awarded $32,931 in cash and prizes! Across all game shows and sweepstakes last month, we had 1,089 unique winners. Of those, most (84%) won a single prize and 16% won more than once (eg, won a Bingo Zone game and also won in Gold 21).

i like seeing repeat winners…i would hate to think that if i did win something bigger than bingo zone on here, that i could never win again!…it really just shows how random the winners are…GOOD LUCK ALL….HAVE A SAFE WEEKEND!

Hi Chris!! I was so excited to get my first check from Gamesville today. I do have a few questions. 1. Was it a mistake for me to claim my first win? Because as often as I play I have never had another win. However I do notice that so many of the same players win over and over. I am very happy for them but I feel a little left out. Please let me know if I should let my winnings accumulate and if maybe because I don’t chat alot if that is the reason. I try to play several games at one time so its hard for me to chat much and concentrate on playing. I LOVE YOUR SITE and its the only one I play on. Please let me know if I am doing something wrong.

Thanks Chris and ev1 at GV. Got my Bingo Zone check in mail today. At my age hope I don’t have to wait another 8 years for a win. By the way I would like to put the screenshot of my winning card on a tee shirt. Do I need permission from Lycos/Gameville to do this. Lots of free publicity for GV in the Houston and surrounding areas. Keep up the good work!!

Chris, now that there have been several winners since the one you have the avatar pic on every page, isnt it time to change it?? I know in Coverall, there have been two with more money and have been SINCE the one with the pic. It gets a little tiring to see same avatar on EVERY page for a Longgg time. @artchj – Each game — and any activity — that you take part in at Gamesville is independent of anything else and does not affect your winning. In other words, just because you won one game does not mean you won’t win again, and just because you didn’t win that last game doesn’t mean you won’t win the next one. Similarly, chatting or not chatting and claiming or not claiming will not affect whether you win either.

Thank you Chris for answring the above comment about the featured winner. I never asked to be featured for that long and honestly what I dont know why it is anyones business who gamesville chooses to feature. Well you may be happy to see that they changed the featured winner to my true friend.
Thanks Chris I got my check 2 days before its due date along with others that were due later on.
Gamesville is the best and honestly Chris I am thinking the blog is a bad thing…..I think maybe it should be used for you or Mega to post information and if someone has comments let them email you this way u can choose what to post it is getting to be like 2 year olds being jealous of every one and complaining about stupid things.
This is a free website or (2.99 a month or $25 ayear if you choose) and you win real money. People need to chill out and be happy we have this site.

sorry, my poor attempt at humor. lets all just play and have a good time. were all supposed to be adults here, and we dont need lectures on how great it is, or how to behave. that should be how we do everything, treating others like we want to be treated. and for what its worth, the suggestions ive seen to close the blog sounds like the only to stop jealousy and hurt feelings. its supposed to be for gamesville info, not for personal attacks or communication with individuals. thats what chat is for. can we all just try to get along?……….there, a little more than just ummmm, yeah right wasnt it?..thanks e-one, gl and have a great day.

Okay I have won on Quick Draw poker just recently so yea super happy about finally winning but I totally understand when people are upset about other people winning multiple times. It can get pretty frustrating. They have a right to voice their opinion like everyone else. I notice that most of the people that comment back to those sorts of post are the people that have won multiple times so please step back every once in awhile and try to see it from their side. Especially from people who have never won.
