Gamesviller nanaof9plyr provided us with a screenshot this morning of something that’s been vexing a number of players — and we wanted to a) publicly thank her, and b) share the answer to her problem in case you’ve been experiencing it, too.
If you’re getting stuck in the Intermission of Quick-Draw Poker, Magic 21, or Gold 21 because you can’t see the ‘Play Now’ button — this is for you.
Magic 21, Quick-Draw Poker, Gold 21, and other games may behave quirkily if your personal “Zoom” or magnification settings are set above 100% in Internet Explorer or other browsers.
Fortunately, this is easy to fix.
If your game looks like this:
Then you can fix it by adjusting your Zoom or magnification settings.
To change those settings…
- When you’re in your game, click the “Zoom” option on the bottom right side of your browser window. (In the example above, our Zoom is set to 125%.)
- This will trigger a popup menu with various magnification settings.
- Change your Zoom to 100%, and your games will render correctly!
Note: This is a great example of why customer service will sometimes request screenshots from people who write in with various problems.
Being able to see nanaof9plyr’s screen revealed the critical clue that nothing else would have shown us, because it had nothing to do with her version of Flash or any of the other things that generally cause problems.
If customer service requests a screenshot of you, please do your best to supply them with that screenshot. If you don’t know how to take a screenshot, please follow the directions we’ve provided on how to take a screenshot. If those directions are unclear, please don’t hesitate to let us know so we can provide better guidance.

I just looked up how to do the screen shot thing yesterday. I think I will do this next time Im playing Gold 21 so customer service can see what I mean when I say the cards add up on their own without me even having the cursor on the column.

chris, you should find a way to put this blog in the gold member information….it only seems to become an issue AFTER becoming a gold member!…im really glad you posted this here tho cause it caused me alot of headaches trying to figure out what was wrong with mine..if someone in chat had not told me what to do, i would have just stopped playing poker and 21..have a great day and GOODLUCK EVERYONE!

gee I am all for winning but i find it alittle weird that obelix24 won qdp twice in 2 days and another win somewhere else today. i dont usually complain but this bothered me.

I’m sorry that bothered you. We don’t artificially cap anyone’s wins, and that’s why it’s possible for someone to win more than once.
Think of it this way: When you flip a coin, the odds are always the same because that coin has no memory. The coin doesn’t know that it just landed on tails, so it doesn’t know that the next flip should be a heads.
Each time a fair coin is flipped, the odds stay the same (50/50) for that individual flip. But that doesn’t mean it’ll always land on one side of the coin and then the other with every successive flip because each flip of that coin is an independent event — that is, not contingent on what happened before.
Our games — and any fair game that involves luck — operates in essentially that same way.

WOW! It seems that this huffing and puffing over people winning multiple times will never really end and that is truly sad! I have pointed out in the past that there are ways to check the integrity of any website so do the research for those of you who doubt the randomness of Gamesville. If I lived next door to someone and we both played the lottery and my neighbor won 3, 4 or 5 days out of a week, I would look pretty ridiculous calling up my state’s lottery office and whining and questioning just how they managed to rig the game. Think about it. I mean this is truly getting old. It had gotten to the point where Mega and Chris needed to take on the extra work of pointing out the actual percentages of winners every week. I think they have their hands full already. Perhaps one way to avoid the “bitterness” for lack of a better word, towards the people who are lucky enough to be in the right game at the right time and in the right room to get that win would be to eliminate this portion of the blog or perhaps the blog in it’s entirety. It seems at times that the blog can become close to a battlefield. Cfhris made an excellent point with the “flip of a coin” analogy and I commend you Chris. I would be at my wits end if I had to constantly repeat myself. I have not won any monetary prizes or anything of value here at Gamesville outside of the priceless gifts of lasting friendships, a safe and fun place to release stress and the possibility of making some extra money in the process. I am not going to let the good fortune of others be my downfall. I choose to celebrate with them and continue to enjoy the quality time I spend here strengthening the bonds with the special people who have become very close as family to me. I have to add that the players I am familiar with are also the best support system anyone could hope for. I would absolute love to come into the blog and see nothing but congratulations and happiness for those who win even if it is repeatedly, but then again, I think I have outgrown any hopes I have ever had for a perfect world. I hope I haven’t ruffled too many feathers and if it doesn’t apply, let it fly. But if it gives you food for thought, I truly hope this satisfiies your hunger. Have a truly awesome Labor Day, stay safe and focus on the fun things in life and try not to make everything a competition. Now I wonder if this will be deleted.

Okay I have won on Quick Draw poker just recently so yea super happy about finally winning but I totally understand when people are upset about other people winning multiple times. It can get pretty frustrating. They have a right to voice their opinion like everyone else. I notice that most of the people that comment back to those sorts of post are the people that have won multiple times so please step back every once in awhile and try to see it from their side. Especially from people who have never won.

as a former non winner me personally i do understand,and really not meanin to crank the whole thing back up ..it is equally as frustrating to be a multiple winner and be made to feel like a criminal for doin so,the one time i won twice in a day it felt like i was having”cyber stones”for lack of better terminology thrown at me,and as a person who has been a non winner too, that feels just as bad. its all about luck and how much u play,nothing more nothing less, so i really wish this subject could be permenatly retired and us all go bk to the congrats and wtg’s..cuz the next winner could be you…..honestly i could care less if i win again,thats more wins for someone else.for me its all about the people some of whom i care for like familyso happy gaming and vgl ev1<3:)

I understand where you are coming from too. If more repeat winners would come in and say this type of thing instead of coming in and going on and on about how RANDOM the winners are. Then maybe those that feel jilted would have a better understanding about how repeat winners get treated.
Like I said in another post once. It all in how you deal with certain posts on here and some people need to step back and put themselves in anothers shoes but that cant be done without explanations such as yours and how you are treated as a repeat winner.
Repeat winners in the small games dont bug me too much. Bigger jps do, but only for like a milisecond ya know. But I know i cant really complain because before my Quick Draw win I did win 10 on Super Chef and 25.00 on the Treasure chest. Course it did take 7+ years for that to happen.
So there are two sides to every story and we all have to learn to come to the middle of understanding.

Absolutely Feel. I am sure Colonel Sanders recipies are safe from you but I now for sure that you would be found in a police car for stealing the Maruchan Ramen Noodles Soup Recipe!
