Yesterday, we dispelled some rumors about how Gamesville works. Today, we're going to address a question voiced by carrier9500tx and several others:
Recently, a person came into Magic 21 claiming to be the latest winner in 21. They said they had to change their member name because once you win in any game, they said you lose all your points and can't win again under that member name. Is this true?
No, that's completely false: There is no overall limit on how much you can win at Gamesville.com, and we do not punish winners by making them change their member names after they claim a prize.
Once you win at Gamesville, your wallet gets a little fatter–and that's it. You can still play under that same member name; you can still earn GV Rewards under that member name; and if Lady Luck smiles upon you, you can certainly win again under that same member name.
Thank you, carrier9500tx, and others who reported that same incident and posed a variation of that question. As always, if you have any questions or comments about anything Gamesville, please let us know.
Sincerely,
Chris Cummings

Quite a few years ago, I remember a man winning Quick Draw Poker twice. I also know of a person who has won 3 times at this site–and we're not talking $2 wins from bingo zone. This person has won 3 large jackpots here and still plays with the same username. Last time I saw him/her I asked for their autograph. lol

I wish Gamesville would stop trying to convince people that they can really win…..Reason I say this, is because I own a shipping center….I ship packages and letters out to all over the united States, canada and overseas….
I know for a fact that the winners posted in these games are not real because of the state and city they put…Example:Valcaron Fl does NOT exist, and Fitzgerald Ga does not either! There have also been many other places that are made up, so Gamesville STOP lying to us, we just enjoy playing games, but not like to be fibbed to!!!

Dear DJ -
When someone wins at Gamesville, our system automatically prints the location they had registered on file with us, warts and all, at the time of that win. All we do is publish what you, the player, have registered with us.
Sometimes, new winners freak out when they realize that they've made a mistake in their address, or registered something less than 100% accurate with us, or forgot to update their address with us after a move. After 10 years in business, we have policies in place to help these winners out and make sure they receive their checks.
That's the truth. If you don't believe that and instead want to subscribe to the conspiracy theory that we make up our winners as part of some complex, elaborate, automated piece of fiction… ask yourself this: If we were going to make up locations for winners, wouldn't we use our computers to generate a list of actual places instead of fantasy locations? There is no point in deceiving people… and even less point in deceiving people poorly. We run a clean business, and that's how we intend to keep it.
Sincerely,
Chris Cummings

DJ,
from wikipedia: Fitzgerald is a city in Ben Hill and Irwin Counties in the U.S. state of Georgia, and the county seat of Ben Hill County.
As for Valcaron, if you check the blog for the date that person won, you'll see very clearly that it states Valcaron as being in Ontario, not Florida. Some people list their state or province as something other than their true location for various reasons, usually privacy reasons. It will then show up in the winners list as being whatever the player gave as their location.
littlebita, you can't possibly know if any African Americans have won or not unless you've tracked down every single winner that ever won anything on this site since it originated and asked them if they were African American or not. I highly doubt that you've done that, so your point is completely.. well… pointless.

All I can say is: If people over18 or 21 do not even know where they live? They are idiots!!!!!

one could say the same thing about someone who doesn't check their facts before posting .

when you win,why does it take so long to get paid? Why isnt there something that tells you when checks were mailed? Sure would be easier on everyone.
